After installing, open claude.ai. The Shelfpane sidebar appears on the left.

If you can't use the store

Some work computers block extension stores. You can load Shelfpane from a zip instead. Version 0.1.1 — the store listings update to it once each store has reviewed it.

Chrome and Edge

  1. Download the zip for your browser and unzip it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) and switch on Developer mode in the top right.
  3. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
  4. Open claude.ai. The Shelfpane sidebar appears on the left.

Firefox only keeps add-ons signed by Mozilla, so on Firefox use the store listing above. The Firefox zip is here so you can check what is in it.

A zip install does not update itself. To switch to the store version later, install from the store and remove the unpacked copy; your folders and pins carry over because they live in the same browser storage.
