Terms of service

Effective 2026-09-12. "We" is Geary Works (Mike Geary, sole proprietor), Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA.

1. What you get. A licence to use the Shelfpane browser extension. Free features are free. Pro features unlock with a one-time-purchase licence key, usable in up to five browsers by one person. Updates are included.
2. Not affiliated with Anthropic. Shelfpane is independent software that works on top of claude.ai. Your use of claude.ai is governed by Anthropic's terms; you are responsible for complying with them. If Anthropic changes claude.ai in a way that breaks Shelfpane, we will try to fix it promptly but cannot guarantee it.
3. Payments. Sales are made by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record; Polar's terms apply to the transaction. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout.
4. Refunds. See the refund policy: 30 days, no questions.
5. Fair use. Do not share or resell licence keys, remove the licence check, or use Shelfpane to access accounts that are not yours.
6. As is. Shelfpane is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for Pro.
7. Changes and termination. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. You may stop using Shelfpane at any time by uninstalling it.
